Our Program

Little Rock Group Family Daycare opened in 2022 as an extension of Lighthouse Group Family Daycare, created to accommodate younger children as Lighthouse transitioned into a 3K program.

We accept children ages 18 months to 2 years old. We take pride in preparing our students for future success in a public school setting and beyond. We provide a nurturing environment filled with love, encouragement, age-appropriate social interaction, and essential developmental skills.

To support working families, we operate year-round and close only on major holidays.

Currently, we have openings for full-time enrollment, along with a limited number of part-time positions. Please note that spaces for children under two and for part-time schedules are strictly limited.

Our Milestones

18 Months to 2 Years: Our Growing Toddlers

  • Cognitive & Intellectual Growth: Toddlers learn by actively exploring the world around them—banging, shaking, and examining objects. Around age two, their vocabulary rapidly grows to about 50 words. You will hear them start to build simple two-to-three-word sentences, like "More milk," as they proudly name the objects in their environment.

  • Social & Emotional Milestones: Children at this age use vibrant expressions, smiles, and babbles to connect with others and communicate their needs. They learn to navigate their big emotions through our dependable, loving, and positive responses. We build strong bonds by mirroring their smiles, sharing in their joy, and offering a comforting, secure presence when they feel overwhelmed.

  • Physical Development: Your little ones are constantly on the move! By 24 months, children are starting to run, kick balls, and practice walking up and down stairs with a helping hand. We also focus on fine motor skills by encouraging them to grip crayons and enjoy making their very first scribbles on paper.

Advancing to the 3K Program

Children who have enrolled in our younger program before January will be given first priority in the 3K program located upstairs in Lighthouse Group Family Daycare.
